Each year Region III presents a special award to one of its members in the coaching or judging community.  The award is in honor of Robert Cowan who was a past Region III Chairman and USGF Men's Program Director.

As a gymnastic coach for over 22 years, Steve Glickley has acted as State Director for Kansas the past 12 years, coached  and hosted the Region III Championships two different times. His dedication to his gymnasts, volunteer efforts to Kansas and extra effort for Region III makes Steve a shinning example for all of our up and coming young coaches.
