2006 Robert Cowan Award Recipient

Each year Region III presents a special award to one of its members in the coaching or judging community.  The award is in honor of Robert Cowan who was a past Region III Chairman and USGF Men's Program Director.

To the left are all of the past recipients of the award who were at this year's Region III Championships.

Here on the right you can see the 2006 Robert Cowan recipient, Scott Wright.  Scott is a past Region III Gymnast who competed for the Garland Flippers.  Currently, Scott and his family live in Conway, Arkansas and own a gym called Sonshine Academy.  Scott has worked hard to promote gymnastics in Arkansas by running numerous clinics as well as running the state championships on many occasions.
