2009 Region III Men’s Gymnastics Clinic
This years’ clinic will be held in conjunction with the Regional Future Stars Testing
Who: USAG registered coaches & gymnasts Levels 7 - 10.
Since we are holding the clinic in conjunction with the Future Star Testing, we will allow the
Future Star Gymnasts to join the clinic at a reduced fee of 1/2 price. There will be limited number of places.

Cost: $40.00 per gymnast or coach attending. One coach per five athletes will be allowed to attend at no charge.
If the gymnast is also performing in the Future Star Testing and is in the 10-12 age group, the cost is 1/2 price ($20) Limited space! Because this is mainly an Optional Clinic, we regret we will not accommodate the 8,9 year olds in the clinic.

Clinicians: Kelly Crumley. He has 25 years of Junior and Senior Coaching experience. Kelly has been a Junior National Coaching Staff Member since 1987 and serves on the Age Group Competition Program, Future Stars Program, Junior National Team Program and is a member of the JOPC. He is co-owner of Buffalo Grove and Bartlett’s Gymnastics Centers in Illinois.
Tom Meadows. He was six-time National Team member, 1990 Class 1 Jr. National Champion, two-time Big 8 Ring Champion and is a current Junior National Coaching Staff Member and Region III Team Coordinator. Tom is the Boy’s Program Director for Cypress Academy in Houston, Texas. He has produced numerous National caliber junior athletes including USA Olympic team members Raj Bhavsar and Jonathan Horton.
Yuejin Sun. He is Junior National Coaching Staff Member since 1995. Sun has served on the Age Group Competition Program for eight years.
He was also on the US Olympic Delegation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Sun has produced numerous National caliber junior athletes and is owner of Alamo Gymnastics in San Antonio, Texas.
Topics: Developing optional gymnastics. Kelly, Tom and Sun will cover optional skills development and technique on all six events. Also, coaches only seminar to cover optional skills, drills and spotting.
