Clinicians:       Yuejin Sun.  Sun has been a Junior National Coaching Staff Member since 1995.  He has served on the Age Group Competition Program for eight years.  Sun was also on the US Olympic Delegation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  He has produced numerous National caliber junior athletes and is owner of Alamo Gymnastics in San Antonio, Texas. 

 

Mike Naddour.  Mike is the owner of USA Youth Fitness Center in Arizona.  He was a competitive gymnast for ASU from 1976-79.  Member of the Jr. National Coaching Staff, 2009 Roberto Pumpido Award recipient and 2009 Jr. Coach of the Year.  Currently the Men’s Jr. Technical Director for Arizona.  He has coached numerous US National Champions including Jason Gatson and Alex Naddour.   

 

Sergei Pakanich.  Sergei was a Latvaian National Team member from 1978-1988.  He has been involved with the Jr. National Team since 2001.  He was also a US National Team coach for international assignments for 2004-2007.  Sergei was the 2006 Texas Coach of the Year.  He coached US Champions Tim Gentry and Philip Onorato.  He currently the men’s team coach at WOGA in Frisco, Texas.

                       

 

Topics:             Developing optional gymnastics.  Sun, Sergei and Mike will cover optional skills development and technique on all six events.  Also, coaches only seminar to cover additional optional skills & drills.
