Clinicians:         Carlos Vazquez.  Carlos is the boys head coach and program director of

                        Capital Gymnastics in Burke, VA.    He was a competitive gymnast for

            Temple University from 1980-84.  Currently, a Jr. National Team Coach

            (since 1992).  Carlos has coached numerous National Team Members,

            World Team Members and 2008 Olympian Justin Spring.    

   

                        Yuejin Sun.  Sun has been a Junior National Coaching Staff Member since 1995.  He has served on the Age Group Competition Program for eight years.  Sun was also on the US Olympic Delegation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  He has produced numerous National caliber junior athletes and is owner of Alamo Gymnastics in San Antonio, Texas. 

 

Sergie Pakanich.  Sergei has been coaching with World Olympic Gymnastics in Texas for the past 17 years.  Formerly, a Latvian National Team Member from 1978-88.  He has been on the Men’s Junior National Coaching Staff since 2001.   He has coached US Champions Tim Gentry, Philip Onorato and Joshua Wilson. 

                       

 

Topics:             Carlos, Sun, and Sergei will cover optional skills development and technique on all six events.
