Routine Description Specified Bonus Performance Criteria
1. From straight arm hang, pull up to flexed arm hang (head between rings) - Momentary hold. Bonus - 2 Chin-ups  
2. Lower to straight arm hang; raise legs to hanging "L" (hold)    2 second hold on "L"
3. "Drop" legs and swing backward   Backward swing to 45 below horizontal
4. Swing forward   Forward swing to horizontal
5. Swing backward   Backward swing to horizontal
6. Swing forward to straight body inverted hang   momentary hold
7. Lower legs to piked body inverted hang   momentary hold
8. Lower to long hang position (hold) Extension from the pike showing a lever prior to lowering to German hang  2 second hold - long hang
9. Drop to landing    
NOTE: Swing Height and body position is defined as:
Forward - The line from the shoulders to feet with body position hollow.
Backward - The line from the shoulders to feet with body position in a tight arch.

Routine Description Specified Bonus Performance Criteria
1. From straight arm hang with false grip, muscle up to support (spotter assistance is allowed). From straight arm hang with false grip, muscle up to support with no assistance Pike in hips permitted
2. Straight body support with the rings turned out (hold)   2 second hold on support
3. Roll back to inverted pike hang   Bent arm allowed
4. Pike and lower to long hang position Momentary Hold From inverted pike hang in #3, extend body horizontally into back lever position (hold 2 sec.)  
5. Pull out to basket hang    
6. Cast forward to swing Backward - Swing Forward   Forward swing to horizontal
7. Swing backward to inlocate - Swing Backward    
8. Swing forward to momentary inverted hang,    
9. Pike and shoot to dislocate   No specific degree of pike required.
10. Swing forward,   Forward swing to horizontal
11. Swing backward    
12. Swing forward to tucked flyaway dismount   Somersault with hips at ring height - release upon vertical (bottom of ring)
NOTE: Swing Height and body position is defined as:
Forward - The line from the shoulders to feet with body position hollow. The swing must show some lifting of the shoulders
Backward - The line from the shoulders to feet with body position in a tight arch.

 

LEVEL 6 (CLASS V) STILL RINGS

Routine Description Specified Bonus Performance Criteria
1. From straight arm hang, pull up to a head-between-the-rings position and "bounce" to a front lever and then return to a head-between-the-rings pull up position Hold Front Lever 1 second  
2. Lift body to a straight body inverted hang position    
3. Lower to piked inverted hang and then extend body to back lever   2 second hold of back lever
4. Lower to long hang position, pull to inverted hang    
5. Cast and swing to back uprise to support -   Back uprise should finish with straight body and feet at 45 below horizontal
6. L support (hold) - 2 second hold on L support   L support, rings turned out, hips forward
7. Press to shoulder stand From L support, bent arm press to momentary handstand Touch of straps with arms is allowed
8. Roll backward to piked inverted hang (basket) and cast backward to forward swing, backward swing to    
9. Straight body inlocate    
10. Straight body inlocate to backward swing    
11. Forward swing to immediate straight body dislocate.   Shoulders should show rise
12. Second straight body dislocate   Shoulders should show rise
13. Swing forward to tucked flyaway dismount   Hips should be at ring height - Open before landing

5. Press to tucked planche (Hold 1 second) Press to straddled planche   
6. Press to L (hold)   2 second hold of L support
7. Press to handstand    Press  may be piked or straddled
8. Roll back and shoot to dislocate    
9. Straight body dislocate    
10. Layout flyaway dismount "B" level dismount Hips on Flyaway at ring height
