JUDGES: Two judges per event (Levels 9, 10
& Elite) – Six events competing at once.
One judge per event (Levels 6, 7 & 8) - Six events

(required by State Competition Board), Official Texas State Entry Form must be
used (yes, they can be computer generated) and all Entry Fees must be paid IN
FULL at the time your club’s Entries are received! (One Entry Fee check per club please).

FORMAT: IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Competition will
be a Modified Capital Cup Format. After
speaking to many coaches, the expressed preference is to keep this format of
Warm-Up/Compete for each event in order to keep their athletes focused. For sessions with a large number of athletes
per squad, the squads will be split in half.
The first half of the squad will Warm-Up/Compete, then the second half
of the squad will Warm-Up/Compete. This
format will give the athletes in the last half of the squad a chance to compete
closer to the time they warm up.
This
will be an INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM oriented competition! You will pick the order of competitors
within your team(s) PRIOR to each event.
Top Three (3) individual scores from each age group on each
event will be counted
for a Team Score at each Class level.

Final Competition Schedule beginning Monday, March 17th, 2008. The Final Competition Schedule will be
posted on the Men’s Texas State website and the Men’s Region III website on
Monday, March 17th, 2008.
Coaches: Please remind your individual Team parents
not to call for competition times.
We
will not give the information to them because of the large amount of telephone
time
required. The Organizing Committee will make sure each
gymnastics club that has athletes competing are notified and that all correct
and necessary competition information is received.
COACHES
MEETING: There will be coaches meetings prior
to each session during the General Stretch time of
each
session. All packets, numbers, rotation
sheets, etc. will be handed out at that
time. Coaches will not receive their packets if ALL
Entry Fees have not been paid in full
and/or
USAG registration numbers for gymnasts or coaches are missing.
COMPETITION
AREA: Only team coaches,
competing athletes, judges, and meet officials will be allowed on
the
competition floor. Please remind your
team parents and non-competing team members of this rule.
SCORES: Scores from each session will be
posted following the completion of each session.
AWARDS: There will be Team Awards (by
Class Level and Age Division), Individual Event Awards (by Class Level
and Age Division) and All-Around Awards (by Class Level and Age Division)
presented to the athletes in each of the competition Divisions. Individual and All-Around awards will follow
the Texas and USAG Rules and Policies guidelines.
ADMISSION: Admission will be $8.00 for Adults
and $4.00 for Children (12 years old and under) for each day of
competition. This Admission Fee
schedule is set up by the USAG Texas State Board for Men’s Gymnastics.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions
will be available at all session for your convenience.
VIDEO
CAMERAS: Due to a shortage of electrical
outlets, only VCR’s with battery packs can be used in
the
gym. Please alert your parents with
VCR’s.
EQUIPMENT: AAI Apparatus ( PH, Vault, P Bar).

ATTIRE: Please be reminded to adhere to the Texas USAG Men’s
rules and guidelines for professional coaching attire. There will be no jeans, cut-off shorts, or
sandals allowed! Collared shirts or
Team T-Shirts are of course permitted.
