At the Level 8-10 Elite Team Camp this past summer, the coaching staff had some great discussions regarding the state of Region 3 and in particular the Elite Team Program. We also had a very in-depth conversation regarding the Elite Team Cup and all the processes that go with it. It was recommended that I lead a meeting as we get started for this upcoming season to go over what came from these meetings to begin our 2024 Elite Team Program process.
I would like to invite everyone to a Zoom meeting to discuss the 2024 Elite Team Program, next Thursday, October 5th at 9:30pm.
I would like to review and discuss the following:
Historical perspective of the program
Elite Team Program:
Levels to be included moving forwards
Levels to be grouped together
Elite Team Cup Discussion
Goals for Region 3
Starting selection pool of athletes
Selection Committee makeup
I would like for everyone who wants to be involved at any level of the Region Team Program to please join us for this discussion.
